My name is Trevor Bullen, and I am excited to serve the West Hill community as your Principal. This school enjoys a rich history of academic excellence and leadership development because of the shared partnership between the staff, students and families. We value diversity, and serve a student population from a rich array of cultural backgrounds that create a stimulating learning environment. By providing a safe and caring school setting, with high standards and excellence, we empower our students and enable them to become intellectually independent and responsible individuals.

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have dedicated myself to the field of education for more than thirty years. During this time, my experience includes teaching high school business studies and physical education, including coaching many sports with a focus on basketball. Most recently, I was a Vice-Principal at Riverdale C.I. and Jarvis C.I. I am happy to say that both my children are products of the amazing education the TDSB offers.

I believe that great schools are the results of great teachers. West Hill’s fantastic teaching staff and I will ensure that every student receives high-quality instruction in a challenging and nurturing environment that focuses on students’ strengths. Our goal is to transform students from adolescents into productive young adults who will contribute to a better future for all.

West Hill offers many programs that enrich learning opportunities such as STEM+, Food and Nutrition, Specialist High Skills Major, Technical Studies, Advanced Placement and many more! The school has a multitude of clubs and teams that bring students together outside of the classroom. We hope to find ways to engage students virtually until we are back to normal.

We are so looking forward to the year ahead and providing a warm, welcoming environment that fosters the student body’s educational and social growth. Have a great year!

Yours Truly,

Trevor Bullen
