Welcome to the The STEM+ Environmental Design and Leadership Program at West Hill C.I.!

The STEM+ program  aims to empower students through centering their voices, interests, and identities in the creation of specialized cross-curricular projects that culminate in our annual STEM+ Community Night. Our program focuses on integrating the design-thinking model to promote environmental stewardship and an immersive and inquiry-based learning experience in all of our STEM+ courses in order to enhance students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Working with local community partnerships, our objective is to cultivate an environment of collaboration where students work together to better their own communities and spaces while gaining invaluable knowledge and practical expertise that will be transferable to a variety of post-secondary pathways.
